Hall County Election Commissioner: Position Opening
After 16 years in office, Hall County Election Commissioner, Dale Baker, is retiring.
Hall County is, therefore, accepting applications to fill the position. This appointed position by the County Board of Supervisors is for a 4 year term. The new term will begin January 1, 2018.
There will be a training period from the hire date until December 31, 2017. The salary for the training period will be 70-80% of the Election Commissioners salary. By resolution the 2018 salary for the full time Election Commissioner is $75,178.46 with a 2% annual increase for the 4 year term.
Prior experience in a County Election Office is desirable but not required. Knowledge of the election process is highly desirable.

Interviews will begin October 3, 2017 with an expected employment date and training period to commence mid-October. Finalists will be subject to a background check.
