Click here to view a list of Lands, Lots and Improvements on Leased Land, in Hall County, Nebraska upon which taxes remain due and unpaid for the 2020 Tax Year together with prior delinquent tax and the delinquent special assessments.
Therefore, notice is hereby given that in order to enforce the lien of such taxes upon the real estate property, I, Alaina Verplank, Treasurer of Hall County, Nebraska, will on, the First Monday in March, 2022, offer for public sale at the St. Mary's Cathedral Square 112 South Cedar in Grand Island, Nebraska, the following described lands, lots and improvements on leased land, for the amount of delinquent taxes and special assessments, assessed thereon, together with interest and advertising cost. Said list is listed in monetary value in descending order.
Said sale will be held between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. and will be continued from day to day until the taxes on these lands and lots in said delinquent tax list shall have been sold or offered for sale.

It is illegal to plant crops, including corn, within County rights-of-way. It is prohibited by Nebraska State Statute §39-301 and violators are subject to prosecution. Immediate action by landowners and tenants to clear any obstructions is necessary or the County may remove the obstruction and recover the costs from the responsible party.
